Responsibilities:
- To assist the project development division for smooth implementation of projects from start to finish.
- Monitor site work progress and it is carry out within budget and of acceptable quality standard.
- To assist Project Planner to implement the whole process of project development undertaken by the company on pre-development stage, project development stage, post- development stage and procurement procedure.
- To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the quality management system.
- To attend sub-contractor and consultant meeting.
- To identify planning approval requirements and to obtain necessary authorities’ approvals in order to kick off the projects.
- To coordinate and with consultants for resolving technical matters and obtaining technical information and solution to complete construction details to ensure effective implementation of construction works at site with compliance to authority requirements, by-law, regulations etc.
- To monitor consultants in order to expedite the release of Certificate of Stage Collection (Billing to purchasers).
- To check consultants’ drawings for any discrepancies occurred.
- To follow up with Local Authority on approval.
- To assist in project management, such as coordination works, technical drawing, site construction etc.
- To assist in follow up with consultants for the timely submission of all design drawings and reports.
- Filing and up-keeping of records for all project progress status.
- Familiar with local authority’s procedure, rules and regulation will be an added advantage.

Pengurus Projek adalah pihak bertanggungjawab ke atas Jurutera dan pembantunya. Pengurus Projek biasanya sama ada terdiri daripada Arkitek, Jurutera, Juru Ukur Bahan, atau pengurus lain. Peranan yang dimainkan oleh Pegurus Projek adalah sangat penting dalam menjayakan sesuatu projek pembinaan. Walaubagaimanapun, Pengurus Projek memerlukan Jurutera sebagai nadinya kerana Jurutera lah yang banyak terdedah dan dekat dengan pihak ketiga iaitu pihak yang menjalankan projek seperti tukang-tukang, buruh, pembekal dan sebagainya.
Jurutera adalah pihak dipertanggungjawabkan untuk menguruskan projek pembinaan mengikut perancangan yang ditetapkan. Jurutera juga melakukan kerja mengikut arahan dan prosedur dari pihak atasan, mentadbir pekerja di tapak bina secara sempurna, menjalankan fungsi pengurusan seperti perancangan untuk mencapai objektif, penyusunan mengikut apa yang dikehendaki pihak atasan, pengawalan dengan melakukan tindakan pembetulan, sentiasa berhadapan dengan pelbagai risiko tidak dijangkakan dan sebagai nya.
